(1) Where a local authority proposes to hold an event under section 238 of the Act, it shall publish a notice in one local and one national newspaper.
(2) A notice under sub-article (1) shall state—
(a) the name of the local authority proposing to hold the event,
(b) that it is proposed to hold an event in accordance with Part XVI of the Planning and Development Act, 2000, (c) the venue at which the proposed event is to be held, (d) the type of event proposed to be held, (e) the date proposed for the holding of the event, (f) the anticipated number of the audience at the proposed event, (g) that a proposal, including a draft plan for the management of the event, in respect of the proposed event may be inspected during office hours at the offices of the local authority for a period of 5 weeks from the date of publication of the notice under sub-article (1), and (h) that submissions or observations in respect of the proposed event may be made to the local authority within 5 weeks of the date of publication of the notice under sub-article (1). |
