199. Fees

<strong>(1)  </strong>   (a) Subject to sub-article (2), the fee for making an application in respect of an event being held mainly for profit or gain shall be €2,500. (b) No fee shall apply in respect of an application for an event other than those referred to in sub-article (1). <strong>(2)     </strong>A local authority shall have an absolute discretion to refund all or part of the fee payable in respect of a particular application where it is satisfied that the payment in full of the fee would not be just and reasonable, having regard to the nature, extent or purpose of the event. &nbsp;
