EIAI – Member Organisations
EIAI represents a number of established specialist organisations from across Ireland’s event industry, bringing their experience, priorities and sector-specific expertise into wider national engagement on issues that affect the industry as a whole.
Each member organisation remains independently operated and continues to represent and support its own members within its specialist area. Through EIAI, these organisations also have a collective route for engagement on broader matters including Government policy, regulation, safety and professional standards, licensing and permitting, workforce and skills, sustainability, insurance and the wider operating environment for events in Ireland.
This structure allows specialist organisations to retain their individual identity and expertise while contributing to a stronger, more coordinated national voice for the event industry.
Irish Exhibition Organisers Association (IEOA)
The Irish Exhibition Organisers Association represents professional exhibition and event organisers operating across Ireland and promotes high standards in the organisation and delivery of exhibitions.
Its members are involved in the planning and delivery of exhibitions across a wide range of industries and markets, with the IEOA providing a specialist voice on matters affecting organisers, exhibitors, venues, contractors and the wider exhibition environment.
As an EIAI member organisation, the IEOA retains its independent role and specialist representation while EIAI represents its interests at the wider event-industry and national policy level.
Irish Showmen’s Guild, Funfairs & Circuses (ISG)
The Irish Showmen’s Guild represents the interests of Ireland’s showmen and the families and businesses involved in travelling funfairs, fairgrounds and circuses.
Founded in 1954, the Guild represents a distinctive and longstanding part of Ireland’s event and cultural landscape, with members operating at festivals, fairs, community events, tourism destinations and other public events throughout the country.
The Guild continues to operate independently on matters specific to its members, while its membership of EIAI provides representation within wider discussions affecting the event industry, including regulation, safety, licensing, insurance, public policy and the operating environment for events.
Wedding Band Association (WBA)
The Wedding Band Association represents professional wedding bands operating throughout Ireland and promotes professional and ethical standards within the wedding entertainment industry.
The Association supports both its members and couples engaging professional wedding entertainment, with standards intended to provide greater confidence, transparency and professionalism when booking a wedding band.
Through its membership of EIAI, the WBA continues to represent the particular interests of wedding bands while also contributing to wider event-industry engagement on issues affecting performers, entertainment businesses, venues, employment, regulation and the operation of events.
Irish Inflatable Hirers Federation (IIHF)
The Irish Inflatable Hirers Federation represents inflatable hire operators throughout Ireland and has a particular focus on safety, professional standards, insurance, certification and responsible operating practices.
The IIHF supports operators in understanding and meeting their responsibilities and provides a specialist industry voice on matters relating to inflatable equipment, inspection, safety certification and regulatory compliance.
The Federation remains independently responsible for representing and supporting the inflatable hire industry, while its membership of EIAI provides a route for those interests to be represented within wider national discussions on event safety, regulation, insurance, professional standards and Government policy.
